Rebecca Davies has owned Victoria Vets since 2011 and is a veterinary surgeon with 33 years of experience in small animal care. Throughout her career, she has worked with a wide range of pets, and at home, she looks after three dogs, four cats, fish, and two horses. Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys spending time outdoors, often with her animals. Her practical, hands-on approach and decades of experience have made her a reliable and knowledgeable vet for her clients.

Matt qualified from Edinburgh University in 2000 and joined the Victoria Vets team in 2009.Matt has had wide experience in small animal work with a particular interest in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. His dedication means our surgical team is as strong as ever. Matt and his wife share their home with Whippet, Finn and cats Jimmy and Bunk.

Rob qualified from Cambridge in 2008 after which he spent a year gaining a wealth of experience working at the Royal Veterinary College in London. Rob ventured to pastures new in March 2015, then rejoined the Victoria Vet’s team in February 2016.

Ashley joined Victoria Vets in October 2014, having Qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2013. Ashley has a bubbly personality and an infectious energy. She has a keen interest in Small Animal Surgery.

Becky joined the team at Victoria Vets in September 2018 after spending the summer travelling following her graduation from the Royal Veterinary College in July. Becky’s main interests within work are ophthalmology and soft tissue surgery. Outside of the clinic she likes to play tennis and explore the Peak district.'

Beth joined the Victoria Vets team in August 2023, having qualified from the Royal Veterinary College earlier that year. Beth completed part of her training with us & loved it here so much she couldn't leave! Beth loves consulting and has a keen interest in medicine. Outside of the practice she enjoys all things arts & crafts and walking in the peaks with her Chihuahua Cross Coco.

Heidi joined our Chapel-en-le-Frith team in September 2011 as receptionist, and now splits her time between our Chapel and Glossop Practices. Heidi spent 2 years travelling and working in Australia, where she spent some time volunteering at a wilderness lodge in Adelaide looking after around 200 reptiles and handling many snakes and lizards, her favourites being a 5-metre long scrub python called Oscar and Brian the bobtail lizard. Her infectious laugh and bubbly personality helps brighten any a dull day. Outside of work, Heidi has a degree in international studies and enjoys reading, music and going to festivals and the theatre.

FIONA NADEN (RETIRED)

Fiona is now enjoying her retirement, but will always be an important member of the practice! Fiona qualified from Bristol University in 1979 and is our longest serving vet. She joined the practice after qualifying to work for Holland and Moss and then Brian Moss and continued to work for Jonathan and Elspeth Down from 1991 to 2011.
