Since September 2009 we are pleased to be able to offer an alternative treatment for older pets with stiffness and lameness. Catherine Bennett-Williams is an experienced animal acupuncturist, and is now offering her skills at our surgery. She is working full time at Victoria Vets in both convential and ‘acupuncture’ medicine. If you feel you would like to discuss the options available for your pet, just ring and ask to speak to Catherine.

December 15th, 2009A day of CPD
May 2nd, 2009Friday 1st May: A whole day of CPD (Continuing Professional Development) was undertaken by everyone at Victoria Vets. The subject was ‘Teeth’. All aspects of dental care, dental radiography, dental disease and dental surgery. We were very lucky to have Alex Smithson for the whole day, giving us a very informative and detailed set of lectures, followed by a full afternoon of practical work. I can guarantee that our dental care will now be of the highest standard.
Going Digital with Xrays
April 30th, 2009April 2009. After some considerable time of research, we have at last moved forward with our xray facilities. This week we have had our new digital dental xray unit installed. This will enable us to see with minute detail all the problems below the gum line. As vets and nurses we are all very excited and look forward to using it. Later in May we will be having our general xray facilities upgraded to digital. The views and detail will be superb and our ability to diagnose and explain will move forwards several gears.

How do you find us?
March 21st, 2009I am keen to find out how our clients find out about us. Why do you choose us rather than another practice? Do most people turn to ‘Asking a friend’ or Yellow Pages? What is it that makes you choose us. If you can help us please try out this blog and post me some comments. Thanks. John
