24 hr Emergency Service
Accidents
and sickness can happen at any time. So it's reassuring to know that
Victoria Veterinary Centre is there for you every hour of the day
and night. Unlike many veterinary centres these days, our own vets
will deal with emergency work at our own surgery.
What do I do?
If something happens to your pet, you want to know what to do - fast. Our highly
qualified vets are available 24-Hours, to help you every step of the way.
Step 1: Act immediately
If your pet is in distress, lethargic or giving cause for concern, it's important
to get expert advice straight away. Waiting for normal business hours prolongs
your pet's suffering and could seriously compromise its health. To talk to
the Vet, call the number below:
01457
852367
Have
a pen and paper at hand because if the surgery is closed, the answerphone
will give you another number to call which will be answered by our
emergency answering service. The vet will be paged and will call
you back within minutes.
Step
2: Know the facts
When the vet calls back, help your pet by passing on all the information you
can. Remember, this can save time in the long run, so do try to remain calm.
Step 3: Take good advice
Following the guidance offered will help to ensure that your pet doesn't suffer
further distress or injury in the course of getting assistance. If in doubt,
don't move your pet, but keep it warm and comforted.
Try not to worry
We're proud of the professional care that our nurses give every poorly pet,
ensuring you both get the very best TLC too - just when you need it the most.
All emergency cover is at Victoria Veterinary
